| Description: | Our client is an independent renewable energy consultancy serving the wind, marine and solar sectors worldwide. This exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to join the design department in Bristol. As Control Systems Applications Engineer your key duties will be to design, develop and test control system software for wind turbines. You will work on the development and employment of XML based code and documentation generating tools targeting a range of embedded PLC platforms in use across the wind and marine energy sectors. The successful candidate will have a high level of competence in software design and an understanding of formal software design practise, hold industrial experience with C & C++ and preferably a range of other languages, also have an understanding of real time & embedded control system design issues.
