| Description: | Our client, a leading independent renewable energy developer in the UK, has a current requirement for a Windfarm Development Manager to be based out of their Glasgow Office. They are currently progressing a portfolio of ten sites (250MW) and expect to add a further five sites (150MW) in the near future. The successful applicant will be responsible for the following: • Identification of suitable new development opportunities • Negotiation of option and lease agreements with landowners and agents • Liaison with specialist consultants to prepare Environmental Statements and EIA’s to accompany planning applications • Management of grid connection applications • Liaison with both statutory and non statutory planning consultees • Public exhibitions and community consultation • Appeal work and public enquires The ideal applicant will have significant experience in most or all of the above areas, a good degree in a relevant discipline but, above all, a track record in successfully delivering demanding projects.
