| Description: | Our client, a highly regarded international engineering consultancy, has a current requirement for an EIA Project Manager to join their expanding Energy Environment team in the Brighton office. The successful candidate would be required to manage Environmental Impact Assessments for all types of energy infrastructure projects including thermal power plants, renewables, transmission lines and gas infrastructure in the UK and internationally in Africa, Asia and Europe. The Project Manager would be required to manage and co-ordinate wide ranging project teams from within the company and externally if required. The EIA Project Manager will be required to carry out the following duties: • Setting up and managing EIA project team who may be geographically dispersed • Establish communications protocols with project team and client • Specify work programme and scope for inputs and deliverables • Client liaison • Liaison with other environmental teams within Mott MacDonald • Inputs to business development and proposals as required • Budget and programme management • Report quality control • Project team mentoring and training • Provide inputs to sub-division EIA development strategy and training plan as required Applications are invited from preferably degree level educated candidates preferably with a post graduate qualification in an environmental subject. You will have extensive experience as an EIA Project Manager for energy infrastructure projects and have a good knowledge and understanding of the technical nature energy generation plant and other types of energy infrastructure.
