| Description: | Our client, a highly regarded international engineering consultancy, has a current requirement for an Offshore Wind Project Manager to join their expanding Renewable Energy team in the Brighton office. The Offshore Wind Project Manager will provide management services to clients looking to design, engineer and construct offshore wind projects and will be responsible for writing specifications, assessing tenders, advising contractors on requirements through award and managing the technical aspects of the contract. This is an excellent opportunity to work on some of the biggest offshore wind projects in the UK and Europe. Key Responsibilities include: • Design and interface management; • Perform technical contract negotiations with suppliers; • Participate in development and optimization of new solutions for offshore wind turbine installation; • Plan and analyse the strategy for project implementation; • Advising clients on issues of project construction; • Providing regular reports on the status of the projects for senior management Applications are welcome from degree qualified engineering candidates, preferably Mechanical who have gained previous offshore wind project management experience working for either a developer or a consultancy You will be decisive and have strong planning and facilitating skills. Furthermore, you are enthusiastic, result-oriented, customer focused, resourceful and creative. You are characterized by having strong communication and interpersonal skills, strong conceptual problem solving capabilities and you are willing to travel. Ideal candidates will be able to speak both fluent English and German.
