| Description: | Our client, a well respected engineering consultancy with an enviable client base in the renewable energy, defence, marine and nuclear sectors. Due to the recent successes in the development of their Environmental Management Business they are now seeking to recruit further experienced and enthusiastic Environmental Consultants to join their team in Bristol. This exciting opportunity offers you the chance to lead a small, but rapidly growing team and to have a genuine influence on the future development of this business sector. As an integral part of this team you will benefit from the company’s open management structure, which allows everyone to involve themselves in a wide range of disciplines from project management through to technical, and business development activities. You will be responsible for project management and for the development of client relationships and not just technical delivery. You will be challenged with a wide range of career and technical opportunities, with the opportunity to play a key role in some of the UK’s most high profile projects, and you will have the ability and the support to develop your career to its full potential. Applications are welcome from degree qualified candidates who have a sound knowledge of Environmental Legislation and will be able to demonstrate the following: • Conduct of Environmental Impact Assessments/Strategic Environmental Assessments • Product / Project Environmental Life Cycle Assessment • Environmental Management Systems development and implementation It would be useful if you also had experience in Environmental Optioneering and Environmental Risk Assessment. You will have experience of working within a consultancy environment and ideally experience of working on engineering projects.
