| Description: | Our client is a leading multidisciplinary environmental consultancy providing a wide range of services to the Oil & Gas and Renewable Energy sectors. Due to continued expansion and new high value contract awards they are currently looking to recruit a Principal Marine Ecologist to join their Environmental Consultancy team based in Aberdeen specialising in Environmental Impact Assessments. The successful applicant will provide a high level of technical expertise in the field of marine ecology, environmental impact assessment or similar environmental disciplines, practice client account management to the highest standards and assist in seeking new opportunities within the sector. The role also involves hands on project work, team management and the application of commercial and technical skills and knowledge. Applications are welcome from candidates with a proven track record in environmental consultancy, with good academic background (preferably within a marine environmental discipline). Ideally you will have experience in the offshore Oil & Gas and / or marine renewables sectors and have an excellent knowledge of sea mammals. You will be self motivated self starter, strong team worker and have well developed communication, project management, proposal and report writing skills.
