| Description: | Our client, a national civil engineering contractor operating in the roads, water, marine, rail and energy sectors has a current requirement for a Project Manager to oversee the construction of a windfarm in North Ayrshire. The £5 million project involves roadworks, the construction of 16km of access track, substation works and the erection of 14 wind turbines. As Project Manager you will manage the design, construction, commissioning and putting to work of contracts to ensure they are completed to the most efficient manner to a timely completion and within the financial constraints of the contract, without risk to the Health and Safety of all concerned. This will include maintaining the company’s reputation on projects ensuring good relationships are maintained with clients, partners and suppliers, co-coordinating and monitoring procurement, quality, design and the progress of applications for progress. You will also be involved in the recruitment of new staff and identifying training and development for existing staff. Applications are welcome from candidates qualified to a minimum of HND level in either civil, mechanical or electrical engineering who have gained previous experience working at Site Agent or Project Manager level.
